Juno

Directed by Jason Reitman (Thank You For Smoking), Juno is an amazingly funny and natural film, due to some great casting! The film follows the ups and downs of 'Juno' (Ellen Page, Hard Candy), an independent, intelligent, and straight-talking high school girl who suddenly discovers she's pregnant to long time friend Paulie (Michael Cera).

I'm deliberately not saying much more on the plot, to avoid ruining it! That said, the film is filled with very clever one-liners and, I think, is even funnier than Reitman's previous films. One of my friends likened it to Knocked Up, and I would say that whilst it shares some similarities, the performances are much more natural and the humour less stereotypical, avoiding pop culture references.

Also starring Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, and Allison Janney, EVERYONE has to see this film… I don't think you'll be disappointed.
